Izyan Kazmi
Intern Analyst
Izyan Kazmi is an Economics student at the University of Chicago minoring in Data Science. As an intern at Essence Development, he supports financial analysis, pre-development logistics, and strategic project work across the portfolio. He also works as a research assistant to Professor Selgrad at the Booth School of Business, where he is supporting her research on qualitative risk factors in mega-firms' economic forecasts. Having grown up in Pakistan, South Africa and the Philippines, Izyan is committed to using his global background, alongside his prior experience with macroeconomic data and modelling, to contribute to real estate development that makes a positive community impact. He looks forward to continuing to build his skills in the industry and form strong relationships with his peers at Essence.
